how to convert MP3 to listenable CD format in standard CD pl

I've found some old time radio audio on the web. I'd like to record these onto CD and listen to them in my car CD player. How can I do this? I think I have to convert the MP3 to another format. Is there any free downloadable software that can do this?
Thanks in advance for responding.

I record MP3 to cd all the time and it works on my car radio. Yuo have to use a music cd. The car radios (at least mine) won't play CDRW.

Most windows pcs comes with at least Windows Media Player and that should work fine. Some people have mentioned Audacity.

It's shows you how to do it in Windows Media Player 11. If you don't have that version, it's okay. The same concept applies to earlier versions as well as other media software.

I'd just burn them as audio CD's. They will play in everything.

If you have windows media player all you have to do is where you click burn at the top menu there is a drop down menu for burn and put it on audio cd. Hope this was helpful! Good Luck!
