Answered: Help please to choose new mobile

Firstly I must admit to be a very basic phone person.My phillips sagem that my daughter bought me 12 years ago has died.
I would like to buy a new mobile but am totally at a loss what to get.
I would like it be be prepaid as I only use it for emergencies.i am a more mature woman and totally uniterested in mobiles.
I would find a calender very usefulll.
I would really like to have GPS on it that I could use on a golf course, but only if it did not cost anything.
I know basically nothing about how mobiles work and how much they cost.
I do not want to spend a fortune on one but wifi would be nice.presumbably if it had wifi I could use the internet free if I found a hotspot? Is that correct?Please can someone enlighten me and point me in the correct direction.
