kc910 renoir, microSD keeps deleting itself

everytime i access the camera, the 2GB microSD card (that came with the phone) resets itself and is blank with just the default folders ;my images, my sounds etc;

if i take the card out and put it back in it is fine and all my folders and files are back but this is of course very frustrating to have to do everytime i use the camera,

i tried reformatting the card but this did not help.

any ideas?
